William "Bill" Burton (BA General Business Administration '52), president and COO of the Detroit Radio Advertising Group (DRAG), has received the 2008 Crain's Detroit Power Sellers Award. Last year the company contributed to more than $220 million in local radio advertising sales. He started his career at Eastman Radio in New York, ultimately becoming chairman and president. In 2004, he received the Broad School's Lifetime Alumni Achievement Award.
James M. Cornelius (BA Accounting '65; MS Financial Administration '67) was named chairman of Bristol-Myers Squibb in February 2008. He will continue to serve as CEO, a position he was elected to in early 2007, after volunteering as interim CEO since 2006. He served as an independent member of the BMS Board of Directors since 2005.
Jeffrey Craig (BA Accounting '82) has been named senior vice president and CFO of ArvinMeritor.
Philip J. Hickey (BA Hotel and Restaurant Management '77) has purchased the bankrupt Jocks and Jills sports bar brand, based in Atlanta.
Philip Hickey Jr. (BA Hotel & Restaurant Management ’77) has purchased what remains of the bankrupt Jocks and Jills sports bar brand. Hickey led the $1.4 billion sale last year of Rare Hospitality, which operated The Capital Grille and LongHorn steakhouse chains, Darden Restaurants Inc., parent company to Red Lobster.
Thomas L. Keon (PhD Management '79) is currently a finalist candidate for president of Valdosta State Univeersity.
Pamela O. Kimmet (Executive MBA ’90) has been announced as senior vice president, human resources, of Coca-Cola Enterprises. She will be responsible for over seeing the development and implementation of global human resources initiatives.
William Kozyra (Executive MBA '88) has joined TI Automotive as chairman and CEO. He is a member of the Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA) Board of Directors; and a board member of NIBCO. Kozyra serves on the executive board of the Boy Scouts of America in Detroit; the University of Detroit Alumni Council and the Society of Automotive Engineers.

Richard J. Metzler (BA MLM-Operations '63) has announced the serial e-publishing of his new book, Lore of Wizards: Consultants Talk About Consulting. Metzler and son, Jon Metzler, who co-wrote the book, interviewed 35 management and senior management consultants. Kathryn Severance (BA Business Education '73) has been promoted to vice president and treasurer of Architectural Traditions, a U.S. manufacturer of custom wood windows and doors. Severance, who joined the company in 2007 as controller, is now responsible for information technology as well as accounting, finance and risk management.
Ray D. Wagner (Executive MBA '87) has been named vice president of Marketing & Communications for FACTON N.A., a product lifecycle costing solutions provider, whose European customers include Airbus, Behr, Bentley, Brose, Magna, ZF and others. Formerly he was vice president of Marketing & Communications at Cobasys, a battery system supplier in a joint venture hybrid between Chevron and ECD.
Charles R. Williams (MBA Human Resource Management '86, PhD Business Administration '90) has been named the dean of Butler University's College of Business Administration, effective August 2008. He was dean of the Eberhardt School of Business at the University of the Pacific.
W. Timothy Yaggi (Full-Time MBA Marketing Management '86) has been appointed Group President of Masco Corporation. He will be responsible for the North America Builder Group which includes Masco Contractor Services, Service Partners, the Builder Cabinet Group, Masco Framing and Milgrad Windows and Doors.
