The 14th Annual MBA Food Fight kicks off this week, and there's more at stake than just pride this year. The Broad MBA program has won the Food Fight eight years in a row, and this annual competition to collect the most food and funds has become a brag point for MSU. It's also a brag point for the Mid-Michigan Food Bank, the local recipient of the Broad School's efforts. More
Broad School joins forces with Sabanci U in Istanbul
While at a recent event for AACSB in Istanbul, Turkey, Interim Dean Elvin C. Lashbrooke signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Broad School and Sabanci University for joint executive education programs. Together, these organizations will develop and execute non-degree executive education, including workshops, face-to-face teaching, coaching and online components. More
MSU team wins national sales competition
A team consisting of two Broad School students and two Communications students led by Broad School Assistant Professor Doug Hughes recently won first place in the National Team Selling Competition for the second year in a row. More

Lashbrooke appointed advisor to State Bar committee
Interim Dean Elvin C. Lashbrooke has been appointed as an advisor to the State Bar of Michigan's Judicial Crossroads Task Force Business Impact Committee. The task force will work to identify how Michigan's justice system can better meet the needs of the public, given the immense changes in the state's economy. More

MSU Spartan Scholarship Challenge announced
The Spartan Scholarship Challenge is a unique limited-time opportunity for alumni, donors and friends of Michigan State University to make the most of scholarship gifts and dramatically increase the amount of aid available to students in need. The challenge maximizes donors' gifts through a $1 match for every $2 in new endowed scholarships thanks to a $7 million anonymous gift to MSU that recently made national news. More
