Jump to:Career Tools MBA ranking results, released by the London-based Financial Times, Ltd., on Jan. 20, 2003, places the Broad School's MBA Program 60th, up 11 places over last year’s ranking. Among U.S. schools, Broad ranked 42nd. Thanks to the generosity of SHB alumni and area businesses, more than 350 donated items brought in over $100,000 at The School of Hospitality Business’ s 12th Annual Auction, Feb. 8, in East Lansing. Proceeds benefit the SHB Association, SHB Alumni Association, the Junior League of Lansing, and MSU Safe Place.
MSU Means Business will feature MSU speakers Broad programs announce new directors: Erika M. J. Butler (butlerer@bus.msu.edu) has been named director of the college's Study Abroad Program. She received her PhD in Mass Media from MSU's Department of Telecommunications and holds two master's of arts degrees from MSU. Esmerlda de Cardenal is the new director of admissions for the Broad School’s full-time MBA program. Alumnae panelists on the program, Janine Woldt, Marie Huelga, Dana Pososki (all graduates of the ‘01 MBA class), and Lisa Anderson (MBA ’99) discussed balancing act of work, study and family – and the rewards of an MBA degree. Alumna and Broad Alumni Association board member, Mary Vallender (MBA ’82), offered the evening keynote address.
