March 12 reception set for Florida alumni
Broad grads in southern Florida will be getting together on the evening of March 12 at the Inn on Fifth in Naples for an alumni reception. Sponsored by the Broad Alumni Association, the association's board member Bill Crowley (BA Accounting '66 M Accounting '67) will act as local host.

Activate your business network in DC!
A networking reception for business alumni in the Washington, DC area is set for the evening of March 25, 5 pm to 8 pm. Alumni host for the event is John Nyland (BA Operations Management '75; MBA Materials-Operations Management '77), a member of the Broad Alumni Association Board. Closs to lead International Business Forum
David Closs (BA '72, MBA Transportation-Distribution '76; PhD Transportation-Distribution '78), The John H. McConnell Chair in Business Administration within the Broad School's Marketing and Supply Chain Management Department and a frequent speaker at industry and academic conferences, will present "Supply Chain considerations to support China's economic growth," on March 16 as a part of the 2004 Broad cosponsored series of international business forums, in East Lansing, Mich. In his remarks, Closs will focus on products and supply chain strategies suitable for the Chinese economy.
