Financial Times ranks Broad School tops in 'Placement Success'

FT recently ranked the Broad School 30th in the U.S. and 49th globally. Also, based on responses from alumni regarding their career services experience, the Broad School was named the best in the world.

Broad School, Masco Corp. jointly develop award-winning exec program

Masco Corporation's "Leadership Program in Operations Management (MLP-OM)" has received the 2004 Award of Excellence from Corporate University Xchange (CUX), in association with Fortune magazine. The Masco program was jointly developed by the Broad School, under the leadership of Steven A. Melnyk, professor of Marketing and Supply Chain Management.

Lucinda Wright (BA Marketing and Transportation '84, MBA '92) recently accepted the position of Broad School MBA Placement and Career Center director.

Timothy Clayton
(BA Accounting '76) was appointed interim CFO for HEI, Inc. He is the principal of Emerging Capital, a Minneapolis-based consulting firm.

Stephen Ewing
(MBA Human Resource Management '71) was recently elected as vice-chairman of AAA Michigan. He is the president and chief operations officer of DTE Energy Gas.

E. R. "Skip" Autry
(EMBA '89) has accepted the position of chief financial officer for TriMas Corporation.

Beth Hain
(BA Hotel & Restaurant Management '96) has been appointed executive director of the Loudoun County Small Business Development Center, located in the Washington D.C. area.

Isabella Cunningham, PhD
(MBA '69, PhD Marketing '72) was appointed to the Cornell Companies, Inc. Board of Directors. She is the Ernest A. Sharpe Professor in Communication at the University of Texas in Austin.

Jeremy Goddard
(EMBA '00) has accepted the position of director of business development for Porsche Engineering Services, Inc.
