Broad School playing major role in new IBM Global Delivery Center
The state of Michigan and IBM, in close partnership with Michigan State University, recently announced the creation of a Global Delivery Center for Application Services to be located on the MSU campus in East Lansing. The Broad School will play a major role in the partnership. More...

Will you take the DARE?
In a nationwide membership campaign themed "WE DARE YOU," the MSU Alumni Association and its partner organizations (college alumni association and regional clubs) are challenging alumni to achieve a 15 percent increase in members by June 30, 2009. For the Broad School, that membership gain is set at 975 new memberships.

Baillie, Zelenski to receive MSU awards
Richard Baillie, the A.J. Pasant Endowed Chair of Finance and Economics, has been selected to receive a 2009 Michigan State University Distinguished Faculty Award, and Lynne Zelenski, Director of Academic Services for the Department of Accounting and Information Systems, will receive the MSU Distinguished Academic Staff Award. Both will be recognized at the annual University Awards Convocation on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009.

Supply Chain program part of new MSU Packaging Innovation and Sustainability Center
Improving the global sustainability of product packaging took a meaningful step forward with a new collaboration proposed by The Coca-Cola Company and Michigan State University. Coca-Cola awarded $400,000 to MSU to help establish a new Center for Packaging Innovation and Sustainability, and the Broad School's Department of Supply Chain Management will be a driving force in the initiative.

Broad MBAs provide auto industry invaluable insights on Gen Y
A group of Broad School Full-Time MBA students recently presented their branding and marketing recommendations to a global auto industry audience of C-suite and VP-level auto executives as a kick-off to the 2009 North American International Auto Show. The event was organized by Deloitte Automotive Consulting to serve as an insightful and positive look into the future of the auto industry.
