Chambers wows Broad Executive Forum crowd
John Chambers, CEO of Cisco Systems, Inc., exhorted a crowd of nearly 400 business leaders and Broad School MBA graduate students attending the 37th Broad Executive Forum, Oct. 14, in Troy, to look beyond the first wave of Internet e-tools to the productivity and profits offered by the next phase, including procurement, sales force automation, wireless networks and supply chain management. Companies that have seized the initiative in second- and third-wave Internet applications will be the winners of tomorrow, he said. As keynote speaker, Chambers wrapped up the Broad Executive Forum theme of “Driving Strategic Change” that was developed through an afternoon workshop and panel discussion. Alumni news
