What is Beta Alpha Psi?
Beta Alpha Psi is an internationally recognized honorary organization to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the field of accounting, finance and information systems that promotes scholarship, professionalism and public responsibility.

What are the requirements of becoming a member?
- Declared major of accounting, finance or information systems
- Completed two years of collegiate courses
- Completed at least one upper level course in major
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Earn at least 80% of total possible points AND 6 hours of community service per semester
But, before you become a member, you are considered a candidate. In order to be a candidate you must:
- Declared major of accounting, finance or information systems
- Completed at least one year of collegiate courses
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0
Note: You can be a candidate for more than one semester!!
What do I need to do to become a lifetime member of Beta Alpha Psi?
- Complete all requirements of a candidate
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Achieved a rank within the top 35% of class, OR at least a cumulative GPA of 3.25 for the most recently completed 30 semester hours
How much are dues?
- Candidate
- ONE TIME initiation fee of $55
- Semester Dues of $55
- Member
- Semester Dues of $55
*Application and Dues are due around at the beginning of the 2nd month of the semester! Specific dates will be announced at the weekly meetings.

- Resume Center
- Meetings
- All BAP sponsored activities
- Fall and Spring Banquet Attendance
- Initiation
- BAP Pins
- Certificates
- Graduation Cords
