MEMBERSHIP in Multicultural Business Students
Thank you for showing an interest in becoming a member of one of the premier professional student business organizations in the Eli Broad College of Business.
With membership in excess of 150 paid members, representing all ethnicities including both domestic and international students, MBS is not only on of the largest but most diverse organizations on the MSU campus.
MBS also boasts a corporate network of over 40 corporations who annually support MBS and its members through corporate donations, workshops and presentations. These companies include General Electric, Chrysler, General Mills, Target, Kimberly Clark, Ernst & Young, PriceWatrehouseCoopers, Enterprise-Rent-A-Car, Kraft, Dow, Philip Morris, Eli Lilly, Shell and many more.
Dues are $30.00 for the whole year and applications can be picked up through the Multicultural Business Programs (MBP) Reception Desk outside of 418 Eppley Center, at any Multicultural Business Students general membership meeting or online at the link listed below.
NOTE: For an additional $10 (per organization) you can also gain joint membership with our sister organizations (Native American and Hispanic Business Students, National Association of Black Accountants, and the Women in Business Student Association).
MBS General Membership Meetings are typically held every other Monday in N130 Business College Complex from 6:30pm – 8:00pm.
Paid membership in MBS grants you the right to apply to attend their annual Leadership Retreat, Holiday Reception, and other members only events (including special corporate presentations/luncheons, conferences and other professional development activities).
