About NABA
Welcome to the Michigan State University Chapter of National Association of Black Accountants. We, the officers, look forward to a very successful year, and are pleased to have you as a member or prospective member.
The mission of the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. (NABA) is to address the professional needs, which enable minorities to maximize their career potential in the accounting and finance profession. NABA is a national membership organization with the primary purpose of developing, encouraging and serving as a resource for greater participation by African-Americans and other minorities in the accounting and finance profession. The MSU chapter of NABA is dedicated to uniting corporation and accounting/finance students, who are committed to professional and academic excellence.

National Association of Black Accountants, Michigan State University Chapter provides effective programs and activities, which promotes our goals. They include:
- To promote and develop the professional skills of our members
- To encourage and assist minority students in entering the accounting and finance profession
- To inform current and incoming students of career paths and business trends within the accounting and finance fields

The motto of NABA, Lifting As We Climb, address the professional needs to our members while developing and inspiring future student leaders who will shape tomorrow’s accounting and finance professions.
