Ambassador Information
The Supply chain Management Association is very excited to be able to offer Ambassador positions for 2008 SCMA Career Fair at Michigan State University with approximately 50 employers and over 450 students in attendance. Due to the limited number of Ambassadors needed, even if you registered, we cannot guarantee you a position with your preferred companies. Please sign-up as early as possible.
What are the responsibilities of an Ambassador Chair?
- Leading the ambassadors in Pre-Fair activities
- Assigning ambassadors to their companies
- Acting as liaison between SCMA and ambassadors
- Overall management of Ambassador positions
What are the responsibilities of an Ambassador?
- Public Relations duties prior to Career Fair
- Host employers during the SCMA Career Fair
- Represent the Supply Chain Management Association and the Eli Broad College of Business
- Distribute information packets to students and employers
- Distribute name tags
- Greet and assist recruiters
- Host employers during their break time
- Run errands for employers
- Assist with continuous refreshment replenishment for employers
- Assist employers with their booth setup and/or tear down
- Collect interview schedules from employers
- Help the SCMA set-up at the Kellogg Center prior to the Career Fair
How much time is needed?
One to two 30-mintue MANDATORY training sessions prior to the Career Fair and a minimum of 2-5 hours the day of the Career Fair.
