FMI Scholars Take Second Place at Annual Biz Quiz

FMI Scholars Mike Warakomski, Amarpreet Jhita and Trevor Logan took second- place honors at the 4th annual Nationwide Fisher Biz Quiz at The Ohio State University on November 8, 2009. This event, held in partnership with The Wall Street Journal, fielded 18 top-ranked business programs from across the nation. Special congrats to Amarpreet for taking first place in the "Money and Investing" individual competition.

Admissions

Students accepted into the institute are called FMI Scholars. Scholars will enjoy many benefits, chief among them being:

  • One-on-one faculty advising with the institute's Academic Director
  • Targeted career development support
  • An annual scholarship up to $1,000
  • Participation in institute road shows to financial institutions in New York, Chicago, etc.
  • Qualification for stipends to help defray the cost of the road shows and interview travel costs
  • An industry mentor from the institute's advisory board
