Regional and State Alliances
The Institute for Entrepreneurship engages in outreach activities within the community and the state. In December 2007 the CVCPEEF co-hosted Michigan’s 21st Century Symposium in Lansing. Over 250 people participated, including entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, private equity professionals, service providers, corporate executives, business professionals and legislators. Dr. Fluck gave the opening remarks at the conference and twenty undergraduate and graduate students from the Broad College of Business represented Michigan State University. Dr. Fluck is currently working on a research project with the Michigan Venture Capital Association on the "Sources of Financing for Michigan Venture Capital Firms and Entrepreneurial Companies" funded by a 21st Century Job Fund grant from the State of Michigan.
