In words...
In order to promote the name of the school, it is important for students, staff and faculty to use the full name of the school (i.e., Eli Broad College of Business or Eli Broad Graduate School of Management) as frequently as possible.
This includes advertising, Web sites, brochures, correspondence, biographies and vitae, forms, signs, specialty items, and in media interviews and speeches.
- In printed material, use the full name of the school in the first sentence or as early in the document as possible.
- On second mention within a document, use the Broad School. (Note: uppercase "B" and uppercase "S.")
- Never use the words Michigan State University without first indicating the full name of the Broad School. (e.g., "Welcome to the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University.")
- Never use "Broad College" or "Broad School of Business" or "MSU business school."
