The Broad School is honored to be associated with so many outstanding people and places. Following is a list of those that were recently recognized for their exceptional achievements:
• Twenty-two MSU May graduates were honored with Board of Trustees Awards for their academic achievements by the MSU Board of Trustees, each achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA. Two of these outstanding students are Broad School seniors: Julianna Beall (supply chain management) and Troy Eberhart (finance).
• Bryan Lovy, president of Multicultural Business Students of MSU, was recognized as a "Student Leader of the Year" by the MSU Department of Student Life. The award honors student leaders of senior status with an overall grade point average of at least 3.3 and significant leadership experience for at least three years.
• Twenty-eight MSU seniors were awarded the "Outstanding Senior Award" by the MSU Senior Class Council for demonstrating exemplary academic and extracurricular successes, and a strong sense of leadership, commitment and dedication to MSU. Two of these winners are Broad School seniors: Kevin Schulmeister (accounting) and Mark Miller (finance).
• The Broad School’s Multicultural Business Students of MSU student chapter was recognized as an "Outstanding Professional Organization," and the Successful Black Men student group, co-advised by Associate Director for Multicultural Business Programs Darrell King, was recognized as an "Emerging Student Organization" by MSU Student Life. Both awards are given to groups based on service demonstration, leadership development and campus impact.
