Kathy Petroni, Deloitte/Michael Licata Professor of Accounting, spoke recently as part of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC)roundtable on fair value accounting and auditing standards.
Petroni appeared on the first of two panels focusing on fair value accounting issues. Her panel discussed the topic from the perspective of larger financial institutions and the needs of their investors. In addition to Petroni, the following panelists participated:
