Karyll Shaw has been named acting associate dean for MBA and MS Programs effective immediately. Shaw is uniquely qualified for this job based on her background in leadership development and higher education.
She has been the director of the Broad School's Full-Time MBA program since 2005. Prior to joining the Broad School, she worked as a senior manager in private industry for Rohm & Haas and for Microsoft, designing and implementing executive and leadership development processes, as well as consulting to executives on organizational effectiveness issues.
Shaw received a BA and MA from Michigan State and her PhD from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland in Organizational Behavior and Theory. She has over 10 years of experience as a faculty member at the University of Kentucky, San Diego State University and Villanova University.
