Ambassador Information

The Career Gallery Committee is very excited to be able to offer positions for Ambassadors for Career Gallery 2009. Career Gallery is the largest career fair at Michigan State University with over 270 companies and over 5,000 students and alumni in attendance.

What is an Ambassador?

Student Representatives who commit their time and skills to the event

What are the responsibilities of an Ambassador?

  • Host employers during the Career Gallery
  • Represent MSU, individual colleges and the Career Services Network
  • Distribute Career Gallery Information
  • Greet and assist recruiters
  • Host employers during their break time
  • Run errands for employers
  • Assist with continuous refreshment replenishment for employers
  • Assist employers with their booth setup and/or tear down
  • Distribute and collect employer and student evaluations
  • Collect interview schedules from employers
  • Problem solve

How much of my time is needed?

Two 30-minute MANDATORY training sessions prior to the Career Gallery and a minimum of five hours during Career Gallery.

What do you get for being an Ambassador?

  • A gift if you complete the training and work one or both days of Career Gallery
  • Great experience and resume builder
  • Direct employer contact

We encourage you to come to the Career Gallery on Wednesday and Thursday, October 7th and 8th for the experience to meet with the companies, and sign up for interviews the following day.
