The Marketing program integrates topics from sales, marketing management, marketing research and international marketing into a unified course of study. The program is designed with the realization that essential breakthroughs in business productivity and quality must be process based and such processes must transcend traditional business functionality and embrace the need for cross-organizational relationships. The program also acknowledges the critical challenges related to environmental impact by engendering an earth-to-earth marketing and supply chain focus.
The Marketing faculty has been a leader in this total system integration for
over 25 years. This is a highly recognized program in the United States, offering
integration among these critical, value-adding components to enhance global
competitiveness. The objectives are to provide and encourage students to pursue
concentrations within their area of interest. As a result, industry looks to
MSU as a prime supplier of marketing talent in job opportunities.
