College of Business Admissions

Requirements

Once a student completes 56 credits they will be evaluated for admission into the college of business. It is very important students meet the following requirements:

  1. Complete at least 4 of 6 of the business core classes.
    1. Business core classes:
      MTH 103 CSE 101 EC 201 ACC 201
      *MTH 124   EC 202 ACC 202
  2. Earn a 3.0+ GPA average in the business core and cumulative courses.
    (Figure your core GPA.)
  3. Declare a business major.

*MTH 124 is used in the core GPA only if it raises the core GPA or is the only math course taken.

Broad Admission is competitive however through strategy students can find success.


Stay On Track
  • Limit courses to no more than 4 courses a semester until 56 credits. This will ensure concentration on core classes and GPA.
  • Meet with advisor at least twice a semester.
  • Meet with a tutor!!
