Admissions
All materials for application to the class entering in the Fall must be received by March 1st of year applying for. The department will begin reviewing applications after this date and will inform applicants of the admission decision and any associated graduate assistantship between March to May. In some cases where we are unsure whether a student is suitable for our program, we may arrange either a phone interview or, when practical, an on-campus interview. If we discover any missing items in your application that will materially affect our decision we will contact you by email January to secure the needed materials. Since we may need to contact you, it is very important that you list a valid email address in your application and in all other correspondence. All correspondence with our program should be made through the program email address; msc00@bus.msu.edu.
