The Broad School is honored to be associated with so many outstanding people and places. Following is a list of those that were recently recognized for their exceptional achievements:

Multicultural Business Program team members. |
- The Broad School's Multicultural Business Program (MBP) was recognized with a plaque for Excellent Progress Toward Achieving Diversity and Pluralism at the 16th annual MSU Excellence in Diversity Recognition and Awards program. MBP administrators and students hold numerous programs on multiculturalism, diversity, affirmative action and equal opportunity, including The Black History Month Multicultural Heroes Hall of Fame Case Competition.
- Nineteen MSU May graduates were honored with Board of Trustees Awards for their academic achievements by the MSU Board of Trustees, each achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA. Four of these winners are Broad School seniors: Nikunji Chauhan (Finance), Christine Hoppesch (Accounting), Angela Nocera (Finance), and Ashley Pruitt (Accounting).
- Four Broad School students were honored as 2006 Outstanding Seniors by MSU's Senior Class Council: Allison Cherrette (Marketing), Peter Gray (Accounting), Lisa Hopcian (Accounting), and Christen Page (Accounting).
- The Broad School's National Association of Black Accountants student chapter and the Multicultural Business Program received an award from MSU Student Life for their recent program "Skills to Success."
- The James B. Henry Center for Executive Development was named the "Best Meeting Facility" in Michigan, as voted by the readers of Michigan Meetings and Events magazine. "I think this award speaks well to the design and amenities of the facility, as well as the outstanding service provided by our team of sales and event professionals," said Executive Development Programs Director David Frayer.

This fall, in response to student and alumni suggestions, the Weekend MBA program will expand beyond East Lansing, where it has been since 1995, to Troy, at the MSU Management Education Center.
