2004 Lifetime Alumni Achievement Award
William "Bill" Burton (BA '52, Business Administration), president and chief operating officer of Detroit Radio Advertising Group; and James F. Rainey, (MBA '66, Production Management), acting Full-Time MBA director. He is also professor of Business Law and associate dean emeritus of the Broad School.
2004 Young Alumni Achievement Award
Jay W. Keranen (BA '92, Financial Administration), senior vice president, Morgan Stanley, and a member of the Broad School's Financial Advisory Board, a Broad Career Coach, the Broad Executive Forum alumni board and a member of the Detroit Area Development Council; and John T. Schied, a graduate of the first Broad School Weekend MBA class in 1996, now Plant Manager for the Flint Processing Center, Service Parts Operations Division, for General Motors.

Beth A. Chappell, (BA '79, Marketing), president of the Detroit Economic Club, and Neil De Koker (Executive MBA '77), president and founder of the Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA).

This fall, in response to student and alumni suggestions, the Weekend MBA program will expand beyond East Lansing, where it has been since 1995, to Troy, at the MSU Management Education Center.
