Eileen M. Wilson, director of Undergraduate Student Academic Services for the Eli Broad College of Business and adjunct assistant professor of Management, has just received Michigan State University's prestigious Distinguished Academic Staff Award. The award, which carries a $2,500 stipend, recognizes individuals for extraordinary academic achievement, excellence and exceptional contributions.

According to the university's announcement for her award, "Dr. Wilson has dedicated her career to making a difference at MSU…one student at a time. She promotes innovations for student success, holding the highest standards while positively and compassionately empowering others."

The award was given during the university's Founder's Day festivities on Feb. 11, during which Lou Anna K. Simon was installed as the university's new president. For coverage of the event, go to www.WMSU.org
