920 undergraduates…
261 MBA/Masters of Science students…
7 Doctoral students…
face the world with new business degrees this summer

Graduating with a degree from a nationally-ranked business school is an honor in itself, but almost a third of this year's senior class took that "honor" up a notch. Nearly 32 percent of the 920 Broad School undergraduates who turned their tassels on Saturday, May 7, graduated with honors, finishing with an overall GPA of 3.5 or greater.

"Last year we had a record number of honors graduates, but this year's group decided to take it a step further and break that record," said Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs Mike Mazzeo. "I have no doubt these over-achievers are ready to tackle the business world head-on."

Of the more than 900 undergraduate students who have completed their business requirements this spring/summer, 163 received a degree in Accounting, 188 received a degree in Finance, 41 received a degree in General Business Administration - Pre-Law, 68 received a degree in General Management, 117 received a degree in Hospitality Business, 25 received a degree in Human Resource Management, 164 received a degree in Marketing, 151 received a degree in Supply Chain Management, and three receive a degree in Economics.

On Friday, May 6, 268 Broad School students received their graduate-level degrees: seven Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration graduates, 94 Full-Time MBA graduates, 52 Executive MBA graduates, nine Master of Science in Food Service Management graduates, four Master of Science in Operations and Engineering Management graduates and 102 Master of Science in Professional Accounting graduates.

"It's great to know that our faculty and staff helped so many young people become the leaders of tomorrow," said Eli and Edythe L. Broad Dean Robert Duncan. "We are proud to add these students to the ranks of our alumni."
