Seventeen Broad student athletes make
2004 Spring Academic All-Big Ten Team

Krzyminski also named Second Team Academic All-American

The Big Ten Conference recently announced its 2004 Spring Academic All-Big Ten Conference Team, and 68 Spartan undergraduates were among those honored - 17 of them Broad School students.

In addition, senior finance major Jamie Krzyminski received 2004 CoSIDA Academic All-American Women's Cross Country/Track & Field second-team honors. She is a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree in cross country and a two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree in track. Krzyminski is also one of the top Track and Field athletes in the country and will be participating in the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials in the 10,000-meter event on Friday, July 16 at 9:20 p.m. PT (live coverage on USA Network). The top three finalists in her event will become members of the Olympic Team and compete in Athens, Greece, Aug. 20-29.

To be eligible for the Academic All-Big Ten team, athletes must be a letterwinner in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a career grade point average of 3.0 or better. The following students are business majors, and the faculty and staff of the Eli Broad College of Business salute their tremendous efforts.
