In 1995, The School's Alumni Association began a tradition designed to honor alumni who in many different ways have brought distinction to their alma mater, credit to their careers, and a legacy to the hospitality industry. A new class is inducted to the Wall of Fame and honored in New York City at The School's annual Celebration of Leadership each fall during the International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show. The Wall of Fame itself is located in the foyer outside The School's Food Production and Management Education labs in the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center on campus. Honorees are nominated and voted upon by the Executive and Appointed Boards of Directors of The School's Alumni Association.
