Bio(s)
- Dr. Frederick A. Rodammer, Professor of Practice, serves as Director of the Center for Leadership of the Digital Enterprise and teaches ITM 309 - Business Information Systems and Technology. Fred received his Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia and his dissertation focused on production planning and scheduling research. While at the University of Virginia, he served as an Instructor teaching decision sciences, operations management, quantitative methods, and systems analysis courses.
Dr. Rodammer has worked in industry for over twenty years prior to joining Michigan State University in 2004. During his tenure in industry Fred has served as a Global Supply Chain Director for a $1B business within Dow Chemical and served as the Global Supply Chain and eBusiness Director for DuPont Dow Elastomers, a $1B joint venture of Dow and DuPont. He led the development and implementation of global supply chain, logistics and eBusiness strategies and championed supply chain Six Sigma efforts for significant cost reductions and service improvements. Dr. Rodammer also served as a member of the Board of Directors for a new B2B eMarketplace in the rubber industry during his career in industry.
