- Tonya VanOrder is Associate Director with the MBA Career Services Center at The Eli Broad Graduate School of Management, supporting students in the Weekend and Executive MBA programs. In her role, she assists MBA's in developing strategic and sustainable career management plans by incorporating training in personal brand management, resume development, and networking skills. Past Executive & Weekend MBA career management programs have included “Career Vision: Developing a Strategic Career Plan”, “Career Management 101: A Case Study Workshop”, and a “LinkedIn Online Networking Workshop”.
Her 12 years of experience in recruiting and customer relationship management helps further enrich our team’s broad-based support for career management services. Prior to joining the MBA Career Services Center, Tonya served as Business Development Director for Business Services & Technology, Inc. (BSTI), where she recruited and trained sales staff and led company marketing efforts. Her background also includes Customer Relationship Manager and Recruiting Manager roles at Lansing area IT consulting firms, in addition to working as Account Executive for Robert Half International (RH Technology), one of the industry’s oldest and largest third-party recruiting companies.
Tonya holds a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University and an MBA degree from University of Michigan-Dearborn.
