Logistics Management
The Logistics Management track helps students develop an understanding of the role logistics plays in enterprise supply chain and overall strategy. It also introduces students to current logistics operating practices, analysis methods, technology applications and strategy development. The curriculum is specifically designed to prepare students for advancement in logistics and supply chain related careers in management, consulting, service-supplier business development and operations, and logistics software support.
Operations Management
The Operations Management track focuses on the role of operations/manufacturing in enterprise supply chain and its contribution to overall business strategy. Special emphasis is placed on the integration of manufacturing in the new product process and on the strategic management of manufacturing interaction with suppliers and channel members. The curriculum grounds students in current practices, technologies and methods preparing them to manage global manufacturing networks and supply chains and providing the foundation for advancement in manufacturing, engineering and consulting organizations.
Supply Management
The Supply Management track focuses on the role of supply management in enterprise supply chain and gives students an in-depth understanding of how supply management supports the overall strategy of a company. This track introduces students to strategic sourcing, supply market research, supplier analysis, negotiations and other pertinent supply management practices and methodologies. The supply management courses are designed to prepare students for moving up the executive ladder in procurement and supply-chain-related careers.
