Environmental Studies Specialization
The Specialization in Environmental Studies allows students to gain skills and knowledge in the environmental sciences necessary for any graduate considering careers that may involve the "greening" of the economy. Students from multiple colleges study current environmental issues, such as global climate change or carbon management in an interdisciplinary setting. The specialization includes courses in environmental policy and law, as well as the social, biological, and physical sciences. The specialization coordinator actively works to engage students in community engagement projects, undergraduate research and experiential learning opportunities.
