Weekend MBA changes to accommodate busy professionals
The 2008 entering class of Weekend MBA students will find that a few scheduling changes have been introduced that will significantly improve their work-life balance – without compromising the quality of their educational experience.
According to Executive Director Lucy Maillette, “The Weekend MBA has always been an intensive program for working professionals since it began in 1995. This year we are implementing a few scheduling changes that we hope will make it an even more attractive option for talented, ambitious people who have to consider their work and family responsibilities.”
The scheduling changes include:
- Friday classes will be held from 6pm to 10pm, instead of beginning at 4pm. (Saturday classes will remain 8am to noon and 1pm to 5pm.)
- The five weekend classroom modules will be modified to a four-weekend classroom format, for a total of 28 weekends. No back-to-back weekends.
- The two week intensive will be arranged into a full one week residency, followed by a wrap-up weekend session.
